On the morning of May 25, 2025, in Hanoi, the Center for E-commerce and Digital Technology Development (eComDX) - Department of E-commerce and Digital Economy (Ministry of Industry and Trade) and Vu Hai Technology Application Joint Stock Company officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement, marking an important step in the development of e-commerce and the digital economy in Vietnam.
The ceremony was attended by representatives from the eComDX Center leadership, the Board of Directors of Vu Hai Technology Application Joint Stock Company, and various departments of the eComDX Center.
Against the backdrop of Vietnam's rapidly growing e-commerce sector, this collaboration is expected to contribute to building a modern, comprehensive, and sustainable e-commerce ecosystem. Under the agreement, the two parties will jointly implement several key solutions, including developing digital services to support businesses such as electronic Certificate of Origin (C/O) declarations, integrating digital signatures and electronic documents into e-commerce operations. Furthermore, they will cooperate in logistics and customs declaration through the VAN-Logistic platform and solutions for digitizing import and export processes. In particular, this collaboration aims to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), providing tools and technological solutions to optimize business efficiency, expand markets, and enhance competitiveness. In addition, emphasis will be placed on organizing training programs and specialized workshops to improve digital knowledge and skills for businesses and households involved in e-commerce.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Huu Tuan, Director of the Center for E-commerce and Digital Technology Development (eComDX), stated that eComDX, under the Department of E-commerce and Digital Economy (Ministry of Industry and Trade), is a pioneer in providing comprehensive solutions ranging from consulting, training, market research to technology infrastructure deployment, contributing to promoting the comprehensive digital transformation in Vietnam's e-commerce and digital economy. With the vision of becoming a leading unit in consulting, training, and implementing e-commerce solutions, eComDX is committed to partnering with ministries, sectors, localities, and the business community to enhance competitiveness and promote the sustainable development of Vietnam's e-commerce.
Mr. Tuan further emphasized that the cooperation with Vu Hai Technology Application Joint Stock Company will contribute to creating a synergistic strength between the planning and policy management capabilities of state agencies and advanced technological solutions from businesses, thereby bringing practical benefits to the business community and promoting the sustainable development of Vietnam's e-commerce ecosystem in the digital age.
On the business side, Ms. Dao Thi Hai Anh, Director of Vu Hai Technology Application Joint Stock Company, affirmed that they will maximize their strengths in technology and human resources to cooperate with eComDX in deploying advanced e-commerce solutions, contributing to promoting the digital transformation process and the development of the national digital economy.
This strategic cooperation agreement not only opens up opportunities for long-term collaboration between the two entities but also plays a significant role in promoting digital transformation in trade and import-export activities, creating a foundation for the sustainable development of Vietnamese businesses in the digital age.
