Within the framework of the Dien Bien Province Cashless Payment Fair 2026, the mega livestream held on September 18th opened up an additional space for promoting and connecting the consumption of OCOP products and Dien Bien's distinctive products with consumers nationwide.
The Dien Bien Province Cashless Payment Fair 2026 will take place from September 17th to 19th, featuring 30 booths from businesses, cooperatives, household businesses, OCOP entities, and digital payment service providers.
At the market fair, Dien Bien province not only showcased products but also created opportunities for people to experience modern payment methods. Businesses were encouraged to use QR codes, electronic payments, online sales, and livestreaming to promote their products.

KOC Trang Sumi Beauty and business representatives introduced products at the megalivestream event.
Within the framework of the market fair, the Department of Industry and Trade of Dien Bien province, in coordination with the Center for E-commerce Development (eComDX) - Department of E-commerce, Ministry of Industry and Trade, organized a megalivestream featuring products with a distinct Dien Bien character such as honey, macadamia nuts, coffee, brown rice, vermicelli, sausages, smoked meat, brocade textiles, dried bananas, male papaya flower tea, puffed buffalo skin, cassava chips, etc. Through presentations by KOC Trang Sumi Beauty and other professional KOCs, the products were introduced visually and vividly, helping local products overcome geographical barriers and reach more customers online.
The megalivestream session attracted over 50,000 interactions, with a peak of 1,000 viewers, demonstrating the significant interest of consumers nationwide in the Dien Bien products featured in the live stream.
According to the Department of Industry and Trade, the livestreaming activity was organized with the goal of helping businesses and people in Dien Bien province become familiar with and gradually practice selling in the digital environment, from introducing products and reaching customers to connecting online orders.

In addition, the livestreaming activities organized during the Cashless Payment Fair created a connection between two trends: selling on digital platforms and making payments in the digital environment.
This creates a relatively seamless chain: products are showcased on livestream, customers interact and select products, orders are linked to shipping, and payments can be made electronically.
From that perspective, the livestream session is not simply an activity within the framework of the market fair. It is an opportunity for producers and businesses in Dien Bien to directly experience a new, more efficient operating method that is in line with current trends.
Therefore, the livestreaming activity at the Cashless Payment Fair on September 18th can be seen as a bridge between traditional stalls, digital content, online sales, and digital payments.
